With this heartfelt celebration we invited our beneficiaries and their families to awaken their Christmas spirit. The children performed various presentations and dances for the attendees, everyone enjoyed a Christmas breakfast that highlighted our conscious eating proposal, and then Santa Claus accompanied us to hand out gifts.
In the morning, we had a visit from employees from the Women’s Secretary Office for a roundtable discussion about different ways to respond to cases of violence against women in the Atlántico department. In addition, we spoke with parents and guardians to identify such possible cases in the area.
Today we wanted to highlight the World Food Day.
Every October 16, organisations such as FAO seek to create awareness and promote unity in all countries so that each individual in the world has healthy and quality food, in addition to generating a responsible culture of consumption and use of natural resources.
From the Educational Articulation program, we are working to ensure that the beneficiaries who are in the last year of secondary school receive the necessary guidance on the different technical, professional and technological careers, in addition to the different types of scholarships that are handled in different institutions of higher education.
This time, we have the support of the Universidad de la Costa, who are working with us virtually to solve any problems and answer any questions.
