Through a small sharing, we wanted to motivate those children who have struggled to improve academically throughout the semester, with a delicious pizza to get out of the routine and have a nice time.

With great enthusiasm the children from the Foundation enjoyed a trip to the Our Atlantic Shopping Center, where the “Environmental Guardians”, “Teen Leaders” and “Warriors” teams could enjoy the movie Aladdin, while the youngest enjoyed the games in Zerogravity. The energy and enjoyment was at its maximum! This was the closing activity of the first semester of the Foundation

Specific intervention with activities that develop the Phonological Awareness helps with children who have difficulties learning to read.

Ordering and adding quantities are key maths activities for children aged between 5 and 7 years. The idea for this week is to bring recyclable objects with which they can work in class and change the counting schemes.

The processes of inclusion are not only in the school. Children also have a permanent follow-up through the School Support Program where they are provided with an educational space based on respect, integrity, social participation, the pace of learning, the cooperation and strengthening self-esteem.

Continuing with its healthy life program, the work team of the foundation organised an ecological walk to the Morro, a sacred place of the indigenous Mocana people, located in the municipality of Tubara, Atlántico. During the day we could breathe pure air and really enjoy the nature. The teams from both Lipaya and Soledad remain fully committed to the goal of maintaining healthy habits. Early on, the doors of the foundation were opened to start the flea market organised by the youth group. The local community was able to acquire various useful objects for their family at very comfortable prices, among which we had mattresses, cars and walkers to name but a few. The day passed between music, animation and sale. Thank you, the FMCCV family for supporting all of our projects. Always thinking about the preservation of the environment, the environmental guardians group and the warriors, in association with the triple AAA, went to the beaches of Salgar, where they organised a day of picking up rubbish and plastic. Always sending the message of commitment about the environment.

Complementary workshops are personalised activities which are designed to reinforce areas where children have academic deficiencies. They are accompanied by an explanation of how the steps are divided or small instructions are given so that the child can achieve the goal.

With metal lids, plastics, and bottles the environmental guardians group celebrated the world day of recycling. They reused these materials into artistic works where the children developed all their creative potential. Long live the recycling!
