Children learn teamwork and collaboration skills.

Participants in the EMOCIONARTE project engaged in teamwork and collaboration activities using board games, providing them with tools to build strong relationships and promote collective success.

This Saturday, we welcomed the young people from the “Community Leaders” project in the southwest of Barranquilla. Forty young individuals, including beneficiaries and community members, gathered to learn in a playful manner about what human rights are and their classifications. With this activity, we kickstarted this project that will continue for 10 months and aims to shape a youth that is both leaderly and participative in the community.

This week, we conducted the presentation of the project’s contents and met the young people who will be part of this experience. We also carried out various group integration activities and assessed the initial knowledge about the topics that will be addressed in the training workshops.

To develop the skill of making assertive decisions and achieving goals, the youth group carried out playful and educational activities where strategies were shared and planning was done to achieve successful outcomes.

At the “Karaoke of Dreams” event, the children’s group channeled and expressed their emotions through the performance of various songs.

Throughout the month of May, the Foundation has carried out various awareness activities on social media, educational institutions, and the radio program “Caribe Joven,” broadcasted through the Southwest Community Station in Barranquilla. The objective has been to inform the young people in the area about this call and the requirements to participate in the registration process.

The children of the Foundation enjoyed a day filled with fun and learning. Through various playful activities, teamwork, perseverance, and communication were strengthened, while addressing important topics such as global warming, recycling, and socio-emotional development.

It was a very special occasion for our children, who lovingly and dedicatedly prepared a surprise for their mothers. They performed special presentations in which they highlighted their mothers’ excellent work and shared meaningful moments together.

We had an unforgettable experience during our visit to the zoo, where we had the opportunity to learn hands-on and experientially about different habitats and the fascinating diversity of our planet.

The children and adolescents from the Mi Ciudad con Vida Foundation enjoyed a day full of fun and learning during an exciting event. Traditional games, role-playing games, and knowledge-based games were organized using recycled materials to enrich the experience for all participants.

On this Earth Day, the boys and girls from the Environmental Guardians project participated in an exciting beach cleaning and mangrove planting day in Puerto Colombia. This activity was carried out in collaboration with the Real Kids Colombia Foundation, the YMCA Organization, the Environmental Network of Puerto Colombia, and the Rumbo Project Collective, thus strengthening our commitment to environmental conservation.
