Durante esta semana, los niños participaron en diferentes actividades simbólicas que fomentan el entendimiento y la convivencia pacífica. Se reforzaron valores como la tolerancia y el respeto a través de dinámicas grupales, charlas y actividades lúdicas. Los pequeños también realizaron murales colaborativos que reflejan sus sueños de un mundo en paz, promoviendo así la creatividad y el trabajo en equipo. The Superheroes of Nutrition

At our Soledad location, the children enjoyed a day full of imagination and energy with the Superheroes of Nutrition activity. The little ones pretended to be their favorite superheroes and, through a balanced diet, regained their powers, such as strength, speed, and intelligence. This fun activity not only encouraged healthy eating habits but also promoted creativity and teamwork, reinforcing the importance of good nutrition for growing up strong and full of energy.

Within the framework of educational workshops with parents and children, we have highlighted the importance of breakfast, considered the most important meal of the day, as it provides the necessary nutrients and energy to successfully start school activities. Today, we worked on identifying the appropriate times for breakfast and the food groups we should prioritize to start the day with full energy.

Let’s Learn Healthy Eating Habits Through the Nutritional Pyramid

One of the main objectives of the food security program is for children to learn how to eat healthily. This week, we conducted a pedagogical activity using the Nutritional Pyramid through a puzzle, where participants used their creativity and ingenuity to arrange the pieces while also internalizing the food groups and how we can combine them in each meal of the day.
