Our children experienced an unforgettable Day of Smiles at the Ranch Texas Recreational Center. Thanks to the generosity of everyone who joined together to make this possible 🙏💙, we transformed Christmas into an adventure full of games, laughter, and hope. Seeing their happy faces is the best gift we could receive. Thank you for helping us sow the seeds of hope! 🎄🎁
Play Time donates a day of play and joy
Thanks to Play Time Barranquilla, our children enjoyed a day filled with smiles, games, and fun. The Mi Ciudad con Vida Foundation is grateful for this beautiful donation that made possible a day full of joy, new experiences, and unforgettable moments for everyone.
Seeds of Emotion
We experienced a wonderful day with our project Seeds of Emotion. Our youth from the Generational Renewal Group led activities with the little ones, putting into practice skills such as empathy, teamwork, and communication. The children participated, learned, and had fun, while the older ones guided with heart. We continue cultivating a future full of respect, joy, and healthy coexistence.
Love and Friendship at Lipaya Headquarters
We held a Love and Friendship activity with our boys and girls. It was a space for integration where, through games and activities, we strengthened trust, respect, and solidarity. This day reminded us that friendship and love are not limited to a single date, but are built every day through small gestures of support and community work. 🌟 Thank you to our children for showing us that when we share from the heart, we all grow together.
Sign Language Workshop
We experienced a very special sign language workshop. Our youth shared this learning experience alongside Bryan, one of our beneficiaries who is deaf and whose natural language is sign language. We were also joined by Ms. Ingrid, a volunteer mother who has been training in this language for years to communicate with her deaf daughter. This space reminds us that inclusion is built with small gestures that open great paths: learning to communicate, recognizing ourselves in our differences, and strengthening bonds of respect and empathy in our community 💫.
We reinforce our commitment to education
We are visiting educational institutions to follow up with our beneficiaries. We want to ensure they remain in the classroom and identify potential warning signs that could interfere with their educational process. Networking with schools strengthens trust and joint care for their well-being. Education, protection, and real support! 💙
Preparation and Leadership Session
In this leadership and generational renewal training, each member of our team is beginning to take on new roles within the Foundation. 🙌💡 A space to discover talents, strengthen skills, and prepare ourselves to continue building the future of our community together. 💪🤝
Integration of our Community Leaders
A brief summary of what we experienced during our Community Leaders’ integration.
Visit from East Carolina University (USA) volunteers
We successfully carried out a recreational and fun-filled day, where our beneficiaries enjoyed a series of traditional game stations and challenges that tested their skills. Additionally, we had the support and accompaniment of a group of volunteers from East Carolina University (USA), who spent a day volunteering at our Foundation. Would you like to spend a day volunteering with us?
Closing of the Vacation Workshops and visit from International Volunteers
We held the closing ceremony of our Vacation Workshops at the Lipaya Center and welcomed a visit from our international volunteer Santiago Fuisz and his family from the United States, who spent time with our beneficiaries and made donations.
