This Saturday, the youngest beneficiaries of the Lipaya headquarters had the opportunity to participate in the Recreational Vacation activities carried out by the Mayor’s Office of Barranquilla in the Lipaya neighborhood. During this day they performed artistic activities, played on trampolines, inflatables and much more. Games are essential to develop motor and social skills in children.

Comprehensive education for responsible sexuality in adolescents

With the psycho-affective intervention project we promote educational spaces to strengthen responsible decision making related to sexual and reproductive health, this time we did it in alliance with the Red Joven Profamilia, a group of young people trained to teach other young people about sexual and reproductive rights. During this meeting, different playful and pedagogical activities were carried out to resolve concerns and identify myths and realities about sexuality, contraceptive methods and health care routes to prevent pregnancy.

Higher Education group pedagogical outing

On Saturday, November 12, the young people of the Higher Education group of the Lipaya Headquarters enjoyed a special day at Ranch Texas, this time not as volunteers, but as the fundamental members that they are. They shared their experiences as beneficiaries of the Foundation, and experiences during their studies. These activities are important to strengthen the friendship, fellowship, sense of belonging of the children, and also to highlight their valuable work as volunteers.

Visit of students from Universidad Libre

This Saturday, Business Administration students from the Universidad Libre de Barranquilla, developed a social service with the beneficiaries of the Lipaya Headquarters, through activities focused on topics such as entrepreneurship, savings, time management, leadership, optimization of resources, business creation. Thanks to these activities, the children can learn about these topics that will be useful to sow in them the entrepreneurial spirit.

Special visits and soccer tournament

This Saturday at the Lipaya Headquarters, we were visited by young people from the Attitude for Life Foundation from the Evaristo Sourdis neighborhood, who learned about the different projects of our Foundation, learned about planting techniques, shared their experiences with the children and played a soccer tournament on the community’s soccer field. These activities promote sports, healthy recreation, teamwork and strengthen interpersonal relationships.
