Young leaders who want to make a significant change.

This Saturday, we welcomed the young people from the “Community Leaders” project in the southwest of Barranquilla. Forty young individuals, including beneficiaries and community members, gathered to learn in a playful manner about what human rights are and their classifications. With this activity, we kickstarted this project that will continue for 10 months and aims to shape a youth that is both leaderly and participative in the community.

Nutritional Screening in Soledad

This week, at Soledad Headquarters, we initiated the first nutrition screening as part of the food security project. The main objective was to assess the weight and height of the children participating in the program in order to identify potential nutritional risk situations and carry out timely interventions. This activity was carried out in collaboration with a team of nutritionists sent by the Barranquilla Food Bank, thus strengthening our alliance for the well-being of the children.
