In commemoration of International Women’s Day, we held a fun and interactive activity to promote women’s rights. Through games, children were able to highlight the strengths of the girls in their group and recognize the importance of women in different social contexts. With initiatives like this, we aim to build a more equitable and inclusive society for all.
This week we have started our meal service sessions. We welcomed our children with a delicious menu and offered them various recreational and nutritional activities that helped them to strengthen their good eating habits.
This 2023, we have started with the socialization of the projects that we will be developing with our beneficiaries and their families throughout the year in Soledad. During the participatory activity, attendees were able to provide valuable contributions and suggestions, as well as commit to staying active in the process. This week, educational coordination processes were advanced with parents of beneficiaries of Inclusion and Higher Education programs for the signing of commitment statements and to inform them of schedules for tracking and guidance processes.
This week we developed a planning and welcome day by our director to the work team of the Foundation, in which we shared the results of educational articulation of the first cut of 2023, projection of our programs and projects; training and updating for all staff.
This week we started with the Educational Articulation Program, following up on the institutions to verify that our beneficiaries are enrolled, and also intervening and supporting families so that children and young people who are out of the school system can resume their schooling this year.
This week in Barranquilla Branch, we made the first delivery of groceries and hygiene kits, prioritizing the most needy beneficiary families in the area, thanks to the support of Perfiles y Soluciones Tecnológicas company.
We reached the most vulnerable communities in Fundación town in the Magdalena department, with the help of our graduate Miguel, who was in charge of the logistics for the delivery of Christmas gifts for 100 children from these communities.
Christmas represents solidarity and hope, sharing them with other communities is an experience that allows us to cultivate these values; approximately 150 children from the Cabica community joined us in this playful and educational activity and received their Christmas gift.
