Community work makes it possible for all residents to get involved and contribute to an improvement in the quality of their lives. The youth group was taken to Soleded and there they put into practise their knowledge and skills with the children from the School Dining Room; developing artistic activities, such as story reading, painting, drawing, dancing and singing. The children loved it. Long live community development!
Its time to read
Learning must be meaningful and comprehensive and our reading project is designed to work on reading mechanics, speed, intonation, comprehension and is playful, creative and reflective.
Community link with the educational institutions
The psychosocial accompaniment program was taking a tour of all the educational institutions where our beneficiaries are enrolled, with the objective of carrying out an academic follow-up and a situational diagnosis of the social problems that can arise in the community at the school level.
The reading, healthy habits
The reading, to wake the imagination and curiosity of the children, also contributes knowledge and new topics of conversation that strengthen social relationships. This week, throughout service at the dining room, we have opened a space to share stories, tales and fables that promote healthy habits and participation.
Follow up to the higher education program
The psychosocial accompaniment program is responsible for making the link with the programs that are developed during the week. This time we were visiting some institutions of higher education where are children are studying, with the purpose of following up their academic and formative process.
Share to learn
Cooperative learning is an innovative and creative part of the school support where the real protagonists are the children and the teaching sheets allow us to leave the traditional schemes to become an attractive alternative when addressing school issues in everyday life. Cooperation and guided participation are necessary to achieve this aim.
Celebrating Men’s day. Un opportunity to promote gender equality.
Today we highlighted Men’s day through lovely messages of well wishes and the creation of contests which showed the positive role men play in society.
Great group dynamics
Energy, teamwork, integration and respect were the objectives set by the Foundation for the development of its activities. Using the game as an instrument, we achieved what was planned and each team gave their very best for the development of these activities. Congratulations to the guys. This is how a workshop is done!
Healthy mental stimulation
Within our nutritional themes we open spaces for cognitive stimulation. This time we made a “soup of letters” contest where we worked on the attention, memory and mental quickness of our children. It was a fun game that allowed us to share and learn.
