At our Soledad Headquarters, we are forming our Leadership School with parents and leaders from the Nuevo Horizonte neighborhood. This week, we learned how to make group decisions using the sociocracy methodology, practiced assertive communication, and explored how to resolve conflicts through respect and listening. We are building a more united, participatory community with strong leadership!
Seeds of Emotion
We experienced a wonderful day with our project Seeds of Emotion. Our youth from the Generational Renewal Group led activities with the little ones, putting into practice skills such as empathy, teamwork, and communication. The children participated, learned, and had fun, while the older ones guided with heart. We continue cultivating a future full of respect, joy, and healthy coexistence.
Love and Friendship at Lipaya Headquarters
We held a Love and Friendship activity with our boys and girls. It was a space for integration where, through games and activities, we strengthened trust, respect, and solidarity. This day reminded us that friendship and love are not limited to a single date, but are built every day through small gestures of support and community work. 🌟 Thank you to our children for showing us that when we share from the heart, we all grow together.
Sign Language Workshop
We experienced a very special sign language workshop. Our youth shared this learning experience alongside Bryan, one of our beneficiaries who is deaf and whose natural language is sign language. We were also joined by Ms. Ingrid, a volunteer mother who has been training in this language for years to communicate with her deaf daughter. This space reminds us that inclusion is built with small gestures that open great paths: learning to communicate, recognizing ourselves in our differences, and strengthening bonds of respect and empathy in our community 💫.
We reinforce our commitment to education
We are visiting educational institutions to follow up with our beneficiaries. We want to ensure they remain in the classroom and identify potential warning signs that could interfere with their educational process. Networking with schools strengthens trust and joint care for their well-being. Education, protection, and real support! 💙
Preparation and Leadership Session
In this leadership and generational renewal training, each member of our team is beginning to take on new roles within the Foundation. 🙌💡 A space to discover talents, strengthen skills, and prepare ourselves to continue building the future of our community together. 💪🤝
Building community at Soledad Headquarters
We held a very special meeting with parents, where they shared their ideas, experiences, and dreams to strengthen their environment.
During the session, we presented a training proposal on key topics such as community leadership, healthy eating, and food handling. The response was positive! Families showed great interest and willingness to take on a more active role within the volunteer program.
This is just the beginning of a process that seeks to empower families and turn them into agents of change in their community.
Special day at our Soledad headquarters
At our Soledad headquarters, we commemorated the Battle of Boyacá, joining the children in remembering the importance of our national holidays.
The Higher Education youth led the day, developing recreational activities, icebreaker games, and supporting the logistics of the event.
Additionally, we received a special visit from some of our partners and their families, who shared this space with the community.
Vacation Workshops at the Soledad Center
At the Soledad center, children participated in the vacation workshops, a series of recreational and educational spaces designed to strengthen their emotional well-being, develop skills, and promote healthy habits.
