This activity is part of the risk management system in the area of occupational health and safety, aimed at training or instructing staff and our group of youth leaders in emergency and fire management. With these actions, we aim to prevent any risky situation, providing safety to all our beneficiaries.

Today, the workshop “Empowering towards female success” took place with a group of mothers from the Lipaya headquarters, supported by Laura Barros Vega, a mentor for personal success, and Labomag. Youth from the Community Leaders project visited the Mayor’s Office of Barranquilla and its main departments with the aim of learning about the various programs that benefit the community and the procedures to access these services.

Prevention and Self-Care Event
This week, at the Soledad branch, we had a prevention event with Profamilia and the Profamilia Youth Network, aiming to prevent situations of risk related to child sexual abuse. Additionally, self-care and personal hygiene were promoted through games and recreational activities.
The year-end rehearsals begin
We are getting ready for Christmas and the end of the year! This weekend, our boys, girls, and young people had fun making crafts with recyclable materials, Christmas decorations for the home, and for the Christmas tree. In addition, we practiced some performances that we are preparing for our community. This will be a good end to the year.
Closing of the Educating at Home project.
The Educating at Home project concluded this November, leaving an indelible mark among the parents who were part of this beautiful process. Thirty-one workshops were conducted, focusing on the development of study habits and socio-emotional tools to enable parents to effectively support their children’s educational processes. This initiative, which began after the pandemic, successfully trained 27 parents.
Celebration of the Little Angels Day
A beautiful day filled with magic, joy, and fun was experienced by our boys, girls, and teenagers from the Lipaya headquarters during the celebration of the Day of the Little Angels. They had the opportunity to enjoy activities such as face painting, a bubble show, balloon twisting, and much more. In addition to sharing a moment of recreation and much happiness, they were able to reinforce their social skills.
Let’s learn how to combine foods to enhance their benefits
This week, at the Soledad branch, the nutritional team from the Food Bank conducted play and recreation activities promoting good nutrition. Practical exercises were carried out, including various recommendations such as eating fruit alone, not consuming more than two carbohydrates in a meal, always including a portion of raw or cooked vegetables, adjusting food quantities according to age, and ensuring that each meal contains a portion of protein.
