This week we visited our group of families in Soledad to carry out our follow-up process and provide the necessary routes of attention to the priority cases.
Welcome Activity Year 2022
During this week we received the children of the Nutritional Care Center with a delicious welcome menu and various recreational activities to celebrate the beginning of the year. We also had the visit of our director, who was enjoying as well of this great celebration.
Barranquilla and Soledad Families Benefit from Food Packages
Thanks to an alliance with the Food Bank we were able to benefit families of Barranquilla and Soledad, who received packages of food items. These were made available to the community at token prices starting at $500 (COP).
Let’s Save the Values of Christmas, 2021 closing event in Soledad
With this heartfelt celebration we invited our beneficiaries and their families to awaken their Christmas spirit. The children performed various presentations and dances for the attendees, everyone enjoyed a Christmas breakfast that highlighted our conscious eating proposal, and then Santa Claus accompanied us to hand out gifts.
Psychoeducational Self-care and Sexuality Workshop
On this day, we carried out a psychoeducational workshop for our youth population where we focused on topics of self-care and sexuality, using challenges and group activities as a learning mechanism.
Collaboration with the Women’s Secretary Office
In the morning, we had a visit from employees from the Women’s Secretary Office for a roundtable discussion about different ways to respond to cases of violence against women in the Atlántico department. In addition, we spoke with parents and guardians to identify such possible cases in the area.

Today we wanted to highlight the World Food Day.
Every October 16, organisations such as FAO seek to create awareness and promote unity in all countries so that each individual in the world has healthy and quality food, in addition to generating a responsible culture of consumption and use of natural resources.
Prevention activities and women’s health
Today we were in a virtual and face-to-face health, prevention and self-care session for women from the Barranquilla and Soledad branches with the support of the Haceb Foundation and its group of allies.
Playing Triqui
Within the pedagogical process that the children go through in the Nutritional Care Center, some traditional games are being used to create healthy habits.
Triqui is a simple game that teaches children to solve problems, uses analytical skills and stimulates attention.
