In the Soledad headquarters we take advantage of this holiday season to develop different activities where the children of the Foundation explored their artistic skills, and additionally learned healthy habits that strengthen their socio-emotional development through a pedagogical booklet that guides the process. Crafts, drawings, dance, relaxation exercises, board games, reading stories, and adventures in the kitchen with fun recipes were part of this activity.

The Nutrition Stop Light
Today in the Nutritional Care Center, of the Soledad Headquarters, we work clearly and simply on how often we should consume certain foods; using a stop light as a guide, we place in red the forbidden foods, in the yellow those that we must consume in moderation and in the green those that we can eat without any restriction.
Social Volunteering of parents
At the Soledad headquarters, we highlight the work of the group of volunteer parents who actively support the dining services and are observers of the projects that are developed in their community; this is a strategy of the psychosocial program that allows families to be empowered, creating a sense of belonging and self-management within the process of social transformation.
Effective communication exercises
The “Educating at Home Workshops’’ are training spaces that seek to generate pedagogical and socio-emotional tools for parents to strengthen the process of accompaniment that they give to their children when performing academic homework. During this week we worked on some effective communication exercises to improve coexistence within the family and maintain an environment conducive to learning and sharing experiences.
