Taking into account how the foundation has impacted their lives and the community, the youth group were developing creative ideas for the new logo in the company of Designer Gabriel Guillén.
Restarting activities
With music, recreational activities and refreshments, the My City with Life Foundation began the activities of the second semester. The children enjoyed the day which was framed with the celebration of July 20. Everyone wore yellow, celebrating our independence and return to activities.
Restarting activities with lots of energy
Energy fizzed in the Foundation! We started our team meeting with a rumbaterapia and everyone participated in our healthy life program. Creativity, commitment and dedication were present at all times. Go team!
Celebration day
This week we resumed our usual dining activities with a beautiful and emotional celebration of the birthdays of June and July.
Parent workshop
With a lot of energy, the Foundation resumed work in this second semester, with a yoga and parent workshop. The parents actively participated in the day where topics such as the mission and the programs of the Foundation, as well as the duties and rights of the beneficiaries were reinforced. In addition, the empowerment of parents as fundamental members of the family were discussed and worked on.
Creative cooking
During the holiday we wanted to highlight activities where children could develop creativity, experiencing flavours, colours and texture of certain foods. It was a really fun session where the true stars were our little chefs.
Game of values and picnic to share
Today we got dressed to have a fun game of football to highlight the importance of fair play. We then closed the day with a picnic where we shared some delicious snacks.
Brain training games
Our morning was dedicated to cognitive tasks through participation games such as: search for intruders, riddles and time to fish.
Effort award
Through a small sharing, we wanted to motivate those children who have struggled to improve academically throughout the semester, with a delicious pizza to get out of the routine and have a nice time.
Foundation outing
With great enthusiasm the children from the Foundation enjoyed a trip to the Our Atlantic Shopping Center, where the “Environmental Guardians”, “Teen Leaders” and “Warriors” teams could enjoy the movie Aladdin, while the youngest enjoyed the games in Zerogravity. The energy and enjoyment was at its maximum! This was the closing activity of the first semester of the Foundation
